Panicum virgatum 'Prairie Sky', a variety of Blue Switchgrass, is the most blue panicum with soft powder blue foliage that grows to 36" high. It is not as upright and sturdy as the vertical types of Blue Switchgrass, and may flop in shade or under very moist conditions. Chalky poweder blue beauty....

This one is a beauty for its unusal chalky powder blue color. Upright to 3 ft. once the seed heads start their magic(they spread out nicely and may get a bit top heavy) its best to tie it up to a small 5ft stake to hold it upright in case of heavy rain but its so beautiful at the front door, a show stopper in every way.
