Plants are shipped February through October on the first business day of each week for orders received by midnight of the previous Saturday. Other items and gift certificates ship year around.
All orders are processed assuming they will be shipped complete. However, backorders do occur; these items will be shipped as they become available. In the event that we are out of a particular size, we reserve the right to fill the order with a size that is of greater or equal value.
Orders placed during the current growing season will be filled the same growing season. We will accept advanced orders (preorders) for next year after November 1 and before the following March 1. Preorders will be charged when placed and shipped on the dates noted below:
Our earliest shipping dates are
Zones 9+ beginning Mar 1,
Zones 8 - 10 beginning Mar 18,
Zones 6 - 10 beginning April 15,
Zones 5 - 10 beginning May 1,
Zones 3 - 10 beginning May 15.
However, if the dates below are not acceptable to the customer, preorders will be shipped when requested but will not be eligible for our guarantee.
When temperatures exceed 95F, we will delay your shipment until the temperature drops back below 95F.
We reserve the right to verify funds with your bank before shipping which may cause a delay of up to ten (10) business days. There is a $35 service charge for all returned checks.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards.
Online order security is important to us. Shopping at dovecreekgardens.com is safe and secure. However, you can fax your credit card information, for online orders, if you feel uncomfortable providing personal information online. You can mail a check or money order, denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank, with your order, if you do not want to use or do not have a credit card. Checks will be deposited upon receipt. Sorry, C.O.D. orders are not offered.
Dove Creek Gardens ships orders via US Postal Service. Large orders ship via motor carrier - email us for a quote. We can only ship to one address per order. Sorry, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
All items are shipped FOB our nursery in Millington, TN. We are not responsible for shipments after they leave our nursery. We offer insurance during the checkout process in order to give our customers protection from lost or damaged packages. Insurance is charged according to USPS insurance rates.
Orders of $100.00 or more (excluding shipping and handling) for delivery within a 30 mile radius of our nursery will be delivered free.
